Managing stress at the organisational level through new age therapies
Authors

Abstract
Stress was originally
defined as a neutral general adaptive syndrome or non-specific response to
demands. Increasingly, it has acquired a negative connotation, implying
excessive demand or pressure. It is difficult to distinguish stress from its causes
and effects. Organizational stressors like policies, structures, physical
conditions, and processes also develop stress. A good number of new age
therapies besides traditional ways are available for managing stress at the
organizational level.
